The Back the Blue Benefit, organized by Addison Enns and Casey Jones, made another donation to the Jefferson police department.
They recently took orders for three different styles of T-shirts that support local law enforcement.
The proceeds were used to purchase two new digital cameras for patrol vehicles along with funds to pay the costs associated with sending officer Caleb Jans to the D.A.R.E. (drug abuse resistance education) instructor course in September.
This is in addition to funds the Back the Blue Benefit donated to the Jefferson PD previously to purchase a new rifle and replace handguns for each officer.
“All of us with the police department are extremely grateful for the hard work they put into raising the donation money and providing us with this equipment,” said police captain Heath Enns. “We would like to thank Addison and Casey and everyone who purchased a shirt for their support.”
